Boardroom Communications honored for support of nonprofit that aids homeless, at-risk children

Firm executives Julie Silver Talenfeld and Don Silver have accepted the prestigious Jacob’s Ladder Award of behalf of Boardroom Communications from Jewish Adoption Foster Care Options.
The non-profit organization a not-for-profit organization licensed by the state of Florida’s Department of Children and Family Services to serve abused, neglected, homeless and at-risk children in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. JAFCO has helped more than 2,000 children since being formed in 1992.
Boardroom was recognized for its ongoing support of the organization and efforts in child advocacy. Each year, Boardroom, Talenfeld and her husband, Howard, sponsor JAFCO’s Hannukah party.
Talenfeld and Silver received the award at JAFCO’s annual gala at the Polo Club in Boca Raton. The event raised $400,00 to benefit abused and neglected children.
