Boardroom was thrilled to be part of JAFCO’s annual Back-to-School Block Party at the Children’s Village in Sunrise.

The event was hosted for foster and adoptive families and children residing at the Children’s Village. More than 150 people attended the event where kids enjoyed pony rides, face painting, dancing, an inflatable water slide, a bounce house and BBQ.

The children also chose their own school supplies from an enormous selection that were part of a wonderful back-to-school drive.

King David Bikers, a Jewish biker group that sponsors this annual picnic, also gave the children a thrill – a ride around the Children’s Village on their motorcycles!

Boardroom attended the event to greet media and take photos of the joy in the faces of children reveling in the final moments of summer.

JAFCO is a nonprofit organization that serves abused, neglected and developmentally disabled
children in the tri-county area.
