BoardroomPR Spreads Holiday Cheer with Nine-Year-Old Boy as Part of Legal Aid’s Annual Adopt a Family Effort

Pembroke Pines residents James and his family were the recipients of Legal Aid Service of Broward County’s annual Adopt-a-Family campaign along with repeat donor, BoardroomPRDon Silver, Sandra Reichman and intern Alyse Silver purchased and delivered gifts on the wishlist of rambunctious James, who attends elementary school and is receiving therapy for cerebral palsy.

“He’s doing great,” said his adoptive mom and aunt.  They explained the valuable role that Legal Aid has provided in James’ adoption and mom’s immigration proceedings. “We are so thankful,” they said.

On James’ wishlist were books, board games, stuffed animals, a basketball, remote control race car and other fun things nine-year-olds like.  His beaming smile, big hugs and non-stop playing said it all.

BoardroomPR has been involved with Legal Aid Service of Broward County and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida for more than a decade and encourages all of our friends to do the same. Legal Aid assists the area’s top non-profits (125 in all) as well as more than 10,000 low income Broward County residents each year with free civil legal services.
