BoardroomPR President Julie Talenfeld and husband Howard Talenfeld helped make the holidays a little brighter for foster children at the JAFCO Children’s Village. For the 8th year in a row, the Plantation couple brought in over 15 tons of snow for the children to play in.

The South Florida kids caught on very quickly, making snowballs and snow angels. To fulfill a true winter experience, the kids also enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows. Before playing in the snow, the children had the opportunity to pick from a table of generously donated gifts. More than 175 children and families came to celebrate.

The Talenfelds always look forward to the holiday season and all the joy it brings.  They recognize that not everyone is fortunate enough to experience true holiday cheer and many don’t even have basic necessities like food, shelter, and clothing.

The Talenfelds are proud JAFCO Godparents and in 2009, BoardroomPR was presented with the prestigious Jacob’s Ladder Award for Child Advocacy. In 2014, Julie was awarded the Woman of Valor Award.
