The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV), Florida’s largest homeowners association, has completed its inaugural home beautification program called “Poinciana Beautiful.”  The goal of the program is to encourage homeowners to take pride in their property, make some improvements when and where needed and ultimately increase property values.

APV is made up of more than 26,000 homes and the HOA wanted to connect with residents and bring about positive change to the community.

For the inaugural year of the program, 70 homeowners were named as finalists and had photos of their homes shown at an awards gala attended by more than 200 people.  A panel of judges selected seven winners, one from each village that participated.

BoardroomPR’s Central Florida office, led by Michelle Griffith and Laura Burns, worked closely with APV to get the word out to residents about this unique program. They helped create eBlasts, launched a social media strategy and wrote articles for the Poinciana Pioneer, the community’s newspaper. The team also worked closely with members of the Central Florida media who were eager to cover such a great program in a community as large as Poinciana.

The inaugural year of “Poinciana Beautiful” was so successful that homeowners are already submitting photos of their homes to be considered for the 2017 program.  Read more about it HERE.
