According to a new study by Pew Research Center, 35% of adults 65 and older are using social media. This is a 33% jump from 2005 when only 2% of seniors were on social networks.

This surge in social media accounts could stem from the growth of mobile devices used among seniors. Or maybe grandparents are just trying to keep up and stay in touch with their grandkids!

Whatever the reason, it’s clear that social media doesn’t just belong to the millennials anymore.
