ST. MARK’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH LAUNCHES NEW, USER-FRIENDLY WEBSITE
December 1, 2015
What’s the face of every modern organization or company? Their website, of course.
With more and more people accessing websites via phones and tablets, companies are rushing to develop dynamic, mobile-ready sites that will keep stakeholders coming back. That’s why Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church and School contacted BoardroomPR and its web-developer partners to create a new web experience that their visitors would love.
Since the school launched the URL, www.saintmarks.com, last year, web traffic has doubled due to the daily updates, tremendous photo library, feature articles, calendar and social media access, as well as the school’s enrollment and support.
Once Father Bob Trache and Mother Liza Ragsdale experienced the school’s new site, they were convinced the church needed the same thing with their URL, www.saintmarksftl.com. The church’s website is unique, but shares some of the same design elements as the school’s website. The church site also features captivating photography, information, blogs, audio recordings of worship services and social media access.
Today, web visitors are looking for an experience. If they just want to click and glance at the latest events or missions, great, but if they are looking for more information, they will have that too. We’d like to thank Saint Mark’s volunteer photographer, Dick Francis, for his tremendous contribution and generosity to both the church and school. Great visuals are the key to creating to a meaningful visitor
