CREATING VISUALS FOR YOUR PRESS RELEASE
September 17, 2015
There is an art to writing a press release; it must have quality information to attract the media. But with the endless amounts of pitches being submitted to media outlets, adding a visual element can give your pitch that “pop” it needs to stand from the crowd. The following are the different types of visuals you can create to help your press release get noticed.
Title graphic:
Take your title and lay it out in a one-color background. Use creative typography to give it that distinctive feature you are seeking for. Use a vector image to showcase your main topic.
Visualized quote:
Bring to life a specific piece of information on the release that stands out by itself; it can either be a direct quote or a brief statement from the author. Use a photo of your subject to connect the words with the author. For more on visualized quotes, click here.
