PR TIP OF THE DAY: SURVEYS
November 30, 2015
PR tip of the day
In PR, we are challenged daily with generating news coverage, creating buzz and driving attendance of industry and charitable events. South Florida PR practitioners often advise clients to involve high-profile community leaders and take great photos for stories, but there is another PR strategy that can be very effective: releasing the results of well-crafted surveys.
Take ITPalooza. For the past four years, it has hosted South Florida’s largest gathering of IT professionals and companies. On December 3rd, we are expecting more than 2,500 to meet at Nova Southeastern University for this educational industry event.
The survey results that we provided to the media made this event stand out from the rest.
Each year, we identify hot topics and conduct online surveys to take the pulse of the local IT community. One that has attracted great media interest focuses on IT engineers and software developers’ willingness to explore new job opportunities and local companies’ hiring plans.
