BoardroomPR’s Senior Vice President, Caren Berg, was invited to speak to Florida State University Students involved in the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). FPRA is a student organization that focuses on professional development and for those studying to become public relations practitioners.
Caren spoke to the group of students about what BoardroomPR does and how we operate as a firm. She then gave the future PR pros her advice on nailing an interview, the importance of internships, and answered questions from students.
The group of young men and women came down from Tallahassee to explore the different public relations job opportunities in South Florida. The speaking opportunity was arranged by Vice President of the FPRA Student Capital Chapter, Brionna Boileau-Theresias, who did an excellent job leading the group.
