Videographers and publicists from BoardroomPR recently supported our longtime client Justice for Kids® at the “Be Your Own Hero” event on March 19, 2026. Led by Justice for Kids and through a partnership with the Hollywood Police Department and Hollywood Fire Rescue, the event celebrated the incredible resilience of pediatric patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

As part of the event, first responders rappelled down the hospital’s exterior façade while patients watched from their windows and the hospital’s Child Life Zone. The children and their families who participated also received and personalized their own superhero capes to symbolize their internal strength. The day served as a reminder that the real heroes are these children who bravely face their health challenges.

Not only were three local television stations on site to capture this incredible moment, but we worked alongside the client to ensure the story was told in a powerful and lasting way.
