Hundreds of South Florida real estate professionals refused to let the onset of Spring Break prevent them from making it to Fort Lauderdale Beach for the 2024 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Fort Lauderdale Real Estate + Investment Forum on March 4. ULI announced that it drew its largest crowd ever in the annual event’s history, reflecting the intense interest in Fort Lauderdale’s present and future.

Harvey Hernandez, CEO of BoardroomPR Florida Public Relations and Social Media client Newgard Development Group, was a featured speaker at the Forum. Hernandez, Kushner President Nicole Kushner Meyer and Naftali Group Chairman and CEO Miki Naftali were panelists on the “Building Tomorrow: Power Players Shaping Fort Lauderdale’s Development Frontier” discussion. Newgard and Kushner are collaborating on Natiivo Fort Lauderdale, the city’s first turnkey resort condominium property purposely designed, built and licensed for short-term rentals.

During the panel, Kushner Meyer noted that she and Hernandez had discussed potentially partnering on a development over the years before finally joining forces on Natiivo Fort Lauderdale. She expressed admiration for Newgard’s forward-thinking approach to projects including LOFTY Brickell, Natiivo Miami and Gale Residences Fort Lauderdale Beach. The 40-story, 384-unit Natiivo Fort Lauderdale introduces Newgard’s flexible ownership concept in a downtown high-rise.

The ULI event also featured a one-on-one conversation with Jose Mas, Co-Owner of Inter Miami CF, which currently plays its home matches in Fort Lauderdale’s Chase Stadium. Mas discussed the impact of “Messi Mania” on the city, which will host Lionel Messi and his teammates for at least two more seasons.

BoardroomPR is proud to be the public relations, social media and integrated marketing partner of a diverse roster of distinguished real estate companies, including ultra-luxury real estate developments, real estate brokerages and construction firms.
