Over 1,500 flocked to the 4th annual ITPalooza Tech conference and job fair on Thursday, December 3rd at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Engineering and Computing.
The event showcased 47 companies and 33 tech organizations. In addition to the vender exhibits, 26 companies participated in the job fair where South Florida tech students lined up with résumés in hopes of landing an internship among other positions. There were also breakout sessions led by more than 40 speakers on topics including agile technology, cyber security, women in IT, and professional development.
ITPalooza awarded scholarships to deserving students who have chosen STEM as their area of concentration.
As part of ITPalooza’s annual tradition, attendees brought new, unwrapped gifts to be donated to Toys for Tots.
