Burger King has been upping its PR and Marketing game ever since the company dropped from the number 2 Fast Food chain under Wendy’s. The company is back at the number 2 spot behind McDonalds. The last PR stunt that Burger King pulled was an open letter to McDonald’s. Burger King’s stated motive was to promote Peace One Day, an organization lobbying to make September 21 International Day of Peace.

It seems that Burger King’s idea may have backfired. Check out the response from McDonald’s CEO.
